Are new students required to live in residence halls?

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ has a . All single, first-year students and transfer students with fewer than 24 transferable credits taken after high school graduation are required to live in residence halls for their first year at ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ.

Students may register for an exemption if living with their parents/guardians in the following contiguous counties:

  • West Virginia: Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, Preston, Taylor and Wetzel
  • Pennsylvania: Fayette and Greene

Commuters must reside at the permanent address on file and reside with their parent(s) or legal guardian(s).
