Higher Education Administration graduate student Adalheid “Heidi” Crum is one of 154 student civic leaders named to Campus Compact's 2023-24 Newman Civic Fellows class. For her Newman Civic Project, she will expand her work to bridge the gap between wardships and higher education.

As a regional hub for the visual and performing arts, we offer a year-round slate of recitals, concerts, plays, musicals, exhibitions, lectures and classes.

Our vision is to break the cycle of poverty and improve health in West Virginia through education in the STEM disciplines.

Our 210,000 alumni carry the Mountaineer spirit throughout 135 nations. The 57,000+ graduates living in West Virginia include 94% of the state’s agriculture educators, 80% of the state’s dentists and over 11,000 health sciences alumni.
