Log in to the ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ Portal

The ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ Portal accesses your ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ (MIX) email account, DegreeWorks, financial aid and more. Academic advisers and units may use MIX email exclusively for communication.

To log in to the ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ Portal, you must first claim your account at (you only need to do this once). After claiming your account, log in at .

Review Your Transfer Credit Evaluation

Upon your admission, your college transcripts are reviewed. In your , go to DegreeWorks to see your courses that already have equivalencies and courses that may need submitted for review. If you have NOEQs, submit a for each course.

Please directly connect with your academic adviser about your credit evaluation. You may also receive a transfer credit evaluation email from the Office of the University Registrar to your MIX email.

To register for your first semester at ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ, you must meet with an academic adviser by email, phone or in-person. Only your adviser can lift your registration hold for you. To get started, contact the transfer academic adviser for your college/school or program.

Submit the FAFSA

The 2025-26 FAFSA is now available to all students. Our FAFSA priority deadline is March 1. We encourage all students to submit the FAFSA. Our school code is 003827. The FAFSA is required for Federal and State aid programs.

Are you entering in spring 2025? If you already filled out a FAFSA for 2024-25, please add ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ. If you have not completed a 2024-25 FAFSA, please submit it as soon as possible.

Accept or Decline Aid

There is no separate application for transfer merit scholarships, but for scholarships consideration you must be admitted by January 2, 2025 for the spring 2025 term and by August 1, 2025 for the fall 2025 term.

All official documents required to support merit eligibility must be received by January 2 for the spring term and August 1 for the fall term.

You can review, accept or decline aid through the . Aid adjustments are posted in the ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ Portal. Acceptance of scholarships and aid is non-binding – you forfeit your award if you cancel your application or attendance.

Pay the Academic Deposit

Students who plan to live in a ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ residence hall and/or participate in an Adventure WV Trip are required to pay the academic deposit.

The academic deposit is fully refundable if you submit the by May 1 for students enrolling in the fall term and December 1 for students enrolling in the spring term.

Apply for Housing

If you are transferring fewer than 24 credits: Apply for housing in a residence hall. ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ has a .

Transferring with 24 or more credits? You’re not required to live on campus and may choose from University Apartments, off-campus housing and residence halls.

Reminder: You must pay your academic deposit before applying for housing.

Choose a Dining Plan

Everyone living in campus housing is required to purchase an on-campus student dining plan. Commuters and those living off-campus have the option of purchasing an off-campus student plan.

Complete New Student Orientation

NSO registration for fall 2025 admits opens in mid-spring. Watch your MIX email for a registration announcement. Program dates and details will be available when registration opens.

Complete Health Insurance Waiver

All students enrolling in 6 or more credits are required to have health insurance coverage. You will be billed for the ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ Aetna health insurance plan unless you opt out by completing the student health insurance waiver.

Admitted for the spring 2025 term? by December 20 to opt out.

Submit Your Final Transcript

When you complete all courses at your current college/university, request that your current registrar forward us an updated official transcript showing your final grades. The ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ Office of Admissions will accept official transcripts from your college registrar via Parchment, E-Scripts, National Clearing House or officially sealed envelope mailed to:

Pay Your Bill

Spring 2025 new students: Your first semester charges will be available in ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ MyAccount (via ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ Portal) in late fall. If you owe a balance you will receive a billing notification and payment deadline in your MIX email.

Fall 2025 new students: In early July, your fall semester charges will be available in ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ MyAccount (via ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ Portal). If you owe a balance, you will receive a billing notification in your MIX email. Payment is due August 1.

Tip: are available to break up your semester's tuition and fees into smaller, more manageable installments.

Move In

Welcome home! If you are living in a ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ residence hall, details for move-in will be sent to your MIX email. If you are living off-campus or in University Apartments, contact your property manager for move-in information.

Choose a First-Year Trip

Start your college experience like a real Mountaineer. Our optional Adventure WV First-Year Trips are peer-led, adventure-based programs that will prepare you for life at ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ. All trips take place in June, July or August. Registration opens in February 2025.

You must pay your academic deposit before registering for an Adventure WV trip.

Find Other Scholarships

You are automatically considered for ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ scholarships if you were admitted as a transfer student by January 2 for the spring semester and August 1 for the fall semester. You should also investigate other scholarship sources to help fund your education.
