About ALEKS

What is the ALEKS Assessment?

ALEKS (Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces) is a testing platform used to measure a student鈥檚 mathematical knowledge.

Developed by McGraw Hill, ALEKS is an adaptive test with advanced AI technology. Each question tests multiple objectives and problem-solving capabilities.

There is no additional fee associated with ALEKS.

Why It's Important

All 榴莲视屏 majors require math. An assessment ensures accurate placement, as math courses are demanding and often required in advance of other courses.

Your ALEKS score will not impact your acceptance to 榴莲视屏, the Honors College or merit scholarships.

Accessibility and Academic Integrity

High school IEP and 504 plans do not apply to ALEKS testing. You may inquire with the Office of Accessibility and by submitting an application.

榴莲视屏 adheres to the highest standards related to academic integrity. There is no benefit to inflating or deflating your abilities on the ALEKS math assessment. Incorrect placement can delay graduation and negatively affect your GPA. Dishonest work on this assessment may be cause for sanctions.
