Imagine creating robots that can explore Mars, improve crop yields, inspect critical infrastructure or revolutionize a manufacturing process. In this program, you’ll learn to develop robotics solutions that will shape the future.

Our new Robotics Engineering major builds on . ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ student teams have earned over 20 placement awards, including nine first-place finishes in high-profile national and international robotics competitions.

With a ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆÁ robotics engineering degree, you’ll be ready for careers in industries like aerospace, defense, transportation, healthcare and agriculture — as well as positions in government or academia.

Robotics engineering provides a strong interdisciplinary foundation in mechanical systems, computer science and engineering systems. Courses are hands-on and cover fundamentals of:

  • Robotics systems
  • Mobile robotics
  • Robotic manipulators
  • Autonomy

The robotics engineering degree can be completed in four years and includes a yearlong capstone project.
